Hi! I'm a computer science student at the University of Oklahoma. I have been programming for about 10 years (not counting those early Basic/C64 days), java for the last one and a half or so. I like java not just because of portability but because it is designed well in contrast to other modern languages/platforms which seem to be a jumble of features with no sense behind them.
I think the JOS project is really cool! Unfortunately, I'll be on the sidelines for a while. I can volunteer in the future when I get some more time.
