18-MAY-2001 Hello. I'm currently working on a project called YAML. I've given up on Java the last few years... although JPython looks cool. I see you all are making good progress. Good luck! Clark

Sometime in 1997/1998

I would like JOS project to succeed because:

Very nice to have you on the project too! :D -- JeroenVanGelderen
If you wanna integrate a webserver, take a look at a dutch javawebserver project called James: james.vpro.nl. This server i 100% pure java!!! With a very clever module-system. -- DanielVanGils

Daniel, could you send these people an email and invite them to join JOS? Why rewrite a server when there's already a great one! Maybe they might allow us access to their source or objects.

"Legal and Organizational Stuff, Getting LLC and Trademark" - your SignUpList entry sounds like a great contribution to the JOS project! But what does LLC mean? --StefanReich, 2/13/98

Clarks the Man.

yo, tell more about the Emote and Moo interface! Sounds really cool. My mind's also hungry to know about ToolTalk.

Clark, I'd also like to know more about your web server. It would be nice if Wiki could be implemented using XML tags, so that more sophisticated processing could be done to create the pages and to add new information. Actually, the XML filesystem that StefanReich, MasonZhwiti, and I are ruminating on in the FilesystemArchitecture page is starting to have some of the qualities of Wiki. It's way too early to actually do any sort of integration with our projects, but it's useful to keep in mind how an XML Wiki system would interact with the web server, since such a system will need to write out web pages and read in from HTML Forms. Maybe a few months down the road we can do some integration.

Hmm. Markus is doing the Wiki improvements... I'm staying away from perl.

Clark:

I seem to be having smtp trouble so I'm posting the message text here..

I'd like there to be both, and I'll take pr as admin.. I think there won't be a need for a biz list until we're ready o discuss licensing and such muck again. Last I checked we were waiting on you for that :)
