Just a note, I no longer endorse any charter effort, including my own nano-charter. Both efforts were attempts to "make JOS" in the eyes of the author.
I contend that the original charter was authored to make the JOS Team a fair democracy/cathedral. I wrote the NanoCharter with the intent of keeping JOS Team a competitive bazaar. Both efforts are misguided
JOS will be what it will be, despite the efforts of people to make it into something. The only charter I would endorse, is one that simply set out to document the currect way JOS Team Members work.
