After degrees in CS, about 12-years experience in design & dev. of OO systems, initially in C++, Smalltalk, now 100% pure. Spend my days teaching Java, evangelising Java, consulting in distributed OO architectures, and occasionally doing some Java development.
Live on a smallholding miles from anywhere, next to an old forest (in southern part of South Africa), tryin to be (somewhat) self-sufficient.
Work sometimes takes me away from home/office for large chunks of time, so I might seem to "disappear" for extended periods.
