I have begun a site to benefit all OS developers. It seems to be that unlike some other groups, OS developers seem to get along fairly well. I truely believe that the operating systems today do not take avantage of the hardware that is available and most companies are just too afraid to fight back against large corporations. It is time that we form strong groups to work together towards a common set of goals, no matter how each of us gets there. Even if every OS project in existance doesn't work out, I would hope that something could be learned from most of them. I am asking your for the chance of us working together in order to help everyone. At this time there isn't more than a basic layout for OSDev.com, but I have many ideas and I am trying to get a group of people together to implement some of them and to offer their suggestions. I have begun to contact hardware vendors in the hope that I can get some much needed technical documentation that is needed in order to write device drivers. If you want, take a look at http://www.osdev.com and use the Temporary discussion board to let me know what you think or feel free to contact me directly.
