These are projects that the JOS Project should keep an eye on. They can provide much needed functionality to the JOS OperatingSystem down the road.

• JCIFS: http://jcifs.samba.org/ : This is a client to Microsoft file sharing (CIF). Down the road they are also looking at building a server.
• I think there is a project called jDNS?
• There are lots of other Java networking projects especially that we need to keep an eye on.
