I'm presently employed as a web developer in Atlanta, GA... working with B2B projects on BroadVision and Java servlet (ATG) platforms. However, my background before starting with this company was more in the realm of UNIX system administration.

I still consider myself having only "journeyman" ability with Java (I feel comfortable with the core language, but haven't done anything with EJB's and so forth yet). However, I was very active in the early days of Linux's rise (I was an alpha tester and contributor to the Linux Documentation Project)... and so the idea of JOS and the thought of making a contribution appeals to me very much.
