Background
My skill set includes OO Analysis & Design (OMT, CRC cards, etc.), C++, and multi-tiered client/server architecture. I'm also fond of OO Design Patterns (GoF). While this is what I do professionally, I've also taken Java courses at Denver University. I like Java because of its portability, built-in libraries, adherence to good OOP features, etc. In addition to being a full-time software consultant, I am attending Denver University where I am a candidate for a Master's degree in Computer Information Systems (MCIS) and a Master's degree in Telecommunications (MTEL); I'll be done in March, 1999.
Parts of the OS I'm Interested In
I'd like to concentrate on application-level pieces of it (shell, programming tools, etc.) and possibly some clients & servers (SMTP, POP3, etc.).
