Introduction

DaemonRunner is a central place to load daemons/services. This will let the admin only have to look in one place to configure the daemons. Instead of searching through startup scripts. :)

Much like the NT Service Manager. This will give the user the ability to quickly add a daemon. Configure it and disable/enable a daemon.

I have initial support for username/password so later when we figure out how we are going to do permissions, we can have daemons start as a specified ID.

The actual DaemonRunner works and I plan on beginning the GUI client to configure it immediately.

Comments/Thoughts welcome.

Began working on the GUI Client to add/delete/disable daemons. Uploaded first versions of DaemonRunnerClient and DaemonRunnerClientFrame

Uploaded DaemonRunnerClient and supporting classes. Works well, except the saveEnties method doesn't work yet. Need to add a few buttons like new Entry, delete Entry etc..

Looking for comments from people. hint, hint.

The GUI client is almost done. It lets you configure daemons/settings and save the changes. Need to add 2 buttons/fuctions still (Add/Delete Daemon buttons)

Added the Add/Delete Buttons. You can now fully:
  1. Configure the daemons list.
  2. Configure the daemonrunner itself

Now all I have to do is add in the remove server control. (The ability to start/stop the daemons.) Starting on it soon.
