Hi,
my name is Michael Johann.
I'm a Java programmer of the first hour.
In May 1996 I created europes first Java magazine Java Spektrum and lead it until June 1997 as an editor-in-chief.
BTW: MarcoWeber was one of my first authors (he's also part of the JOS project).
Today I write nearly 50% of all german Java-related articles and have written a book about MS VJ++. The current book will be out in march and is a bool about Borland Jbuilder (Addison Wesley).
I have also finished some commercial projects and work on a freelance basis for Sun, Microsoft and Borland.
As a Java expert I have given more than 60 sessions on conferences in europe (most in germany).
I also write user experience reports for Sun and do Roadshows and Conferences for Borland and Microsoft.
My focus for the future will be Smartcards and Java on the IBM AS/400.
I'm interested in writing JavaBeans for the JOS and maybe do some docs. How about integrating Smartcard-technology in JOS?
If you have questions please contact me.
Greetings
Michael Johann
