First of all new members Im sorry this page isn't up, feel free to ask anyone about the topic of a FreeOS. Secondly, shouldn't we replace this page? --DigiGod

Apparantly someone thought they would be real "cute," and fill this page with nonsense. Of course they didn't sign their name... they would mean a responsibility to back up your opinions.

I'm not sure if someone knows what exactly was on this page a while ago, but if anyone can dig up the IP address of the person that edited this page before me, I'd love to see it.

I assume we have backups available somewhere to replace this page?

Hmmm, I thought there was an RCS in operation to solve that sort of silliness. Also I would expect the WWW server logfiles should show not just the IP address the edit came from, but the username that whoever did it authenticated with. That username has an email address known to those who hand out Wiki names... so they can (and IMO should) be suitably censured.

It would be nice if whenever a page is completely cleared, or completely changed, that the Wiki server would notice this and put the person's name into a text file. In this way we can add least record the name of people who do massive changes, in case these changes amount to vandalism.

Do we have any Microsoft employees with access? Haha, just kidding, trying to bring a bit of levity to you all in these occasionally dark times.

Re the suggestion of Brad: well - I had that idea myself some time ago... The problem is that you have to specify exact criteria on when a page is changed completely...

And regarding the deleted pages: I sometimes have the feeling that there could still be a bug in Wiki which results in deleted pages.
