The HardwareIOGroup is concerned with issues relating to JOS's interaction with the hardware for IO.

Specific issues include:

• Graphics Card
• Video support
• 3D support
• Audio support
• Serial Ports
• Parallel Ports
• SCSI support
• USB support
• IEEE 1394(FireWire) support
• PCMCIA support
• PCI/ISA/NuBus/whatever system bus

How about support for 'Be GeekPort' style ports? Especially good when the OS is being used in academic environments, and just fun. WillMatthews

What about smartcard support for security and ID etc.
